Programme 2010
Friday Evening 10th -Sunday
12th September 2010
' Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction'
Led by Mo & Peter Henderson
Human emotions and symptoms of stress manifest in the body/mind in relation
to the conditions and circumstances of our lives. There are times for all of
us when it is more difficult to contain emotional turbulence and stress
reactions. This can render us vulnerable to addictions and habitual
tendencies. This workshop has an educational and practice based approach, a
unique blend of mindfulness & behavioural practice. We will explore how we
can be imprisoned by our own relationship to stress and difficult emotions.
How engaging in daily mindfulness practice can point us towards dealing
truthfully & wholeheartedly with the challenges we often have to cope with
as human beings.

Friday Evening 12th
– Sunday
14th November 2010
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
We have natural human responses to
stressful life threatening situations and this helps to protect us.
However sometimes the way we relate to situations & conditions can
accentuate our reactions & cause feelings of being overwhelmed &
'driven' by our thoughts & emotions.
These weekend courses offer a unique blend of a mindfulness
meditative & behavioural approach. A way of learning through
education, experience & practice to develop understanding and choose
to take helpful actions in response to stressful conditions. This
can lead to freedom from being governed by the emotions and feelings
which cause further suffering & bring clarity to our decision
making.
The workshop sessions are intertwined with a daily schedule of
practice, which includes sitting and walking meditation, body &
breath awareness and working mindfully together.
Those who travel from the Channel Islands and U.K. are provided with
transport from and back to the port of St Malo or airports of Dinard
or Rennes.
Therapuetic Assistance.
We are both UK and Channel
Island
registered psychotherapists, specialising in Cognitive Behavioural and
Mindfulness Based Group centred therapies. We are willing to offer
time with anyone in need of help on an appointment or residential basis and
again any costs are by guided donation or exchange.
