Ferry Brittany Ferries http://www.brittany-ferries.co.uk operate car ferries from Portsmouth, Pool and Plymouth to the French ports of St Malo, Cherbourg, Caen and Roscoff. There is also LD Lines http://www.ldline.co.uk operating from Portsmouth to Le Havre. If you are a foot passenger we can arrange to pick you up from our nearest port of St. Malo.
From the Channel Islands Condor www.condorferries.com offer a year round ferry service for both car and foot passengers to St. Malo -remember to click on the appropriate flag for you at the top of the page in order to see special offers for each island and also the UK. Compagnie Corsaire http://www.compagniecorsaire.com/ operate from April to September providing frequent daily services for foot passengers. Transport to La Ville Davy can be arranged for you from and back to St. Malo. Manche Iles Express operates a foot passenger service from Jersey and Guernsey http://www.manche-iles-express.com/ to Granville.
Air Ryanair http://www.ryanair.com operate a daily service from Stansted and also East Midlands to Dinard Airport. Often special low cost fares are available if you plan ahead. Flybe http://www.flybe.com have flights into Rennes from Belfast City, Dublin, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Inverness, Isle of Man, Kirkwall, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and Southampton. Transport can be arranged to pick you up.
From Guernsey and Jersey via Guernsey there are regular flights with Aurigny Airlines http://www.aurigny.com/ to Dinard airport. Transport can be arranged to get you to La Ville Davy and back from the airport
Train Eurostar http://www.eurostar.com can take you from St. Pancras in London direct to Paris where you can change to SNCF and go on to Rennes. From Paris Gare du Nord, take Metro line 4 in the direction of Porte d'Orléans (or a taxi) to Paris Montparnasse for frequent connecting trains.
Public Transport There is a bus service between St. Helen and St. Malo and other destinations and there are trains from St. Malo to Dinan Staton. However the bus service to St Helen is only twice daily. Consult us for times. If you are coming to La Ville Davy for a quiet renewal time/break with the intention of seeing some of Brittany, with the public transport limitations a car/bicycle would be a good idea. Lifts by car to and from the port or airport can be arranged.
